Cleveland Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis is not in the starting lineup for Monday's home game against the Boston Red Sox.
It's a routine day of rest for Kipnis, and he'll be replaced in the starting lineup by Giovanny Urshela.
Kipnis has struggled to the tune of a .296 wOBA through 78 games in 2017, and numberFire's models project him to bat .266 while adding 3 home runs and 13 RBI in 105 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
