Logan Forsythe out of Dodgers' lineup on Monday night
Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Logan Forsythe is absent from Monday's starting lineup against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Chase Utley was the Dodgers' designated hitter for Sunday's series finale in Detroit against the Tigers, but he will move to second base for tonight's National League affair, sending Forsythe to the bench. He's hitting .241/.363/.323 with 3 home runs, 27 RBI, and 45 runs scored in 325 plate appearances (83 games) on the year.
numberFire's models project Forsythe to record a .250 batting average with 2 home runs, 8 RBI, and 12 runs scored in 97 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
