Adam LaRoche late scratch Monday from White Sox lineup

Chicago White Sox designated hitter Adam LaRoche was a late scratch from the team's lineup Monday due to right patella tendinitis.

What It Means:

J.B. Shuck was not in the original lineup, but he will play right field and bat sixth. Avisail Garcia had been tabbed to play right, but he will be the designated hitter instead.

The White Sox are facing Indians starter Trevor Bauer, who has hit a tough stretch here of late. Since the start of June, he has a 4.34 xFIP and a 5.63 ERA, thanks to a 4.10 walks per nine rate. However, our projections still aren't big on either Garcia or Shuck, seeing them as mid-tier values in the outfield on FanDuel Monday.
