Hyun Soo Kim is on the Phillies' bench on Friday
Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Hyun Soo Kim is not starting on Friday against the San Francisco Giants.
Kim has been alternating in and out of the lineup as of late, and that trend will continue tonight with Cameron Perkins drawing the start in right field versus left-hander Matt Moore and the Giants. Perkins will bat eighth for Philadelphia.
Since being acquired from the Baltimore Orioles on July 29, Kim is just 4-for-30 (.133) in 13 games. numberFire's models project him to bat .245 in 60 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
