Rays' Kevin Kiermaier (hip) activated from disabled list
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier has been activated from the team's 60-day disabled list.
After fracturing his hip on June 8th, Kiermaier will be active for the first time in over two months. He hit 3-for-24 during his rehab assignment so it might be a slow transition but expect Kiermaier to take back the starting role in center at the expense of Peter Bourjos and Mallex Smith.
numberFire's algorithms project the 27-year-old for 19 hits, 7 RBI and 11 runs the rest of the season.
