Texas Rangers catcher Robinson Chirinos is not in the starting lineup at home against the Chicago White Sox on Thursday.
It's a routine day off for Chirinos, and he'll be spelled behind the plate by Brett Nicholas.
Chirinos has a strong .360 wOBA through 57 games in 2017, and numberFire's models project him to bat .224 while adding 3 home runs and 10 RBI in 76 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
