Tyler Austin

Tyler Austin recalled, starting for Yankees versus Mets

New York Yankees first baseman/outfielder Tyler Austin was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes.

What It Means:

Austin will start at first base and bat seventh versus left-hander Steven Matz and the New York Mets on Thursday. This will be just his fifth game in the majors this season, and his first since June 27. Garrett Cooper was placed on the 10-day disabled list with left hamstring tendinitis.

Despite being favored in the contest, the Yankees don't offer much fantasy upside, as they have a poor implied total (4.00 runs) in what looks like a pitcher-friendly affair (7.0 over/under, 0.929).
