New York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner is starting on Thursday against the New York Mets.
After striking out in his lone pinch-hit appearance on Wednesday, Gardner will man left field and return to the leadoff spot versus Mets left-hander Steven Matz. Jacoby Ellsbury will be available off the Yankees' bench.
Despite being favored in the contest, the Yankees don't offer much fantasy upside, as they have a poor implied total (4.00 runs) in what looks like a pitcher-friendly affair (7.0 over/under, 0.929). numberFire's models project Gardner to score 11.7 FanDuel points at a cost of $3,000 on Thursday.
