Gregor Blanco sitting on Thursday for Diamondbacks
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Gregor Blanco is not starting on Thursday against the Houston Astros.
What It Means:
Blanco went 1-for-5 with 3 strikeouts on Wednesday, ending an 0-for-17 slump for the 33-year-old outfielder. He will be on the bench for today's series finale while David Peralta returns to the leadoff spot versus Astros right-hander Mike Fiers. Chris Herrmann will be in left field for the Diamondbacks.
