Marlins' A.J. Ellis out of the lineup on Wednesday
Miami Marlins catcher A.J. Ellis is not in the starting lineup at home against the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday.
It's a routine rest day for Ellis, and J.T. Realmuto will move from first base to catcher while Tomas Telis enters the lineup to start at first.
Ellis has only managed a .288 WOBA through 33 games in 2017, and numberFire's models project him to bat .200 while adding 4 RBI in 38 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
