Max Stassi catching Tuesday for Houston
Houston Astros catcher Max Stassi is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's matchup with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
On Monday, the team purchased Stassi's contract from Triple-A Fresno with both Brian McCann (knee) and Evan Gattis (concussion) on the disabled list. As he provides Juan Centeno with a rest today, Stassi will make his first start since being called up. He hits seventh opposite lefty Anthony Banda.
Stassi has put together 12 home runs and a .378 wOBA at Triple-A this season, while the Astros have an implied total of 4.9 runs tonight at Chase Field.
