Arizona Diamondbacks utility player Daniel Descalso is not starting on Tuesday against the Houston Astros.
Brandon Drury will start at second base while Descalso grabs a seat on the Diamondbacks' bench. He's slashing .237/.338/.390 with 6 home runs and 39 RBI in 290 plate appearances (96 games) this season.
numberFire's models project Descalso to turn in a .250 batting average with 2 home runs, 12 RBI, and 13 runs scored in 112 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
