Braves' Johan Camargo (knee) to be out longer than initial timetable

Atlanta Braves shortstop Johan Camargo is expected to be out longer than his initial two-week timetable, according to MLB.com's Mark Bowman.

What It Means:

Manager Brian Snitker said that the projected timetable for Camargo's right knee bruise was overly optimistic. That tells us that Camargo's recovery isn't going as planned and that a return in August may be unlikely. That will leave Dansby Swanson to man shortstop on a nightly basis.

Upon his return, numberFire's models project the 23-year-old for 4 extra-base hits, 6 RBI and 5 runs the rest of the year.
