Rockies' Nolan Arenado (hand) expects to miss 2-3 games
Colorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado (hand) said he expects to miss the next 2-3 games.
Arenado had to be lifted from Sunday's game after being hit on the hand with a pitch. X-rays were negative, but it looks like he'll need a few days off to recover. Pat Valaika is starting at third on Monday and could be in line for a few more starts at the hot corner this week.
Our models project Arenado for a .304 batting average, with 9 home runs, 30 RBI, and 26 runs scored over 178 plate appearances remaining this season.
