Marlins' Brad Hand allows three homers in 1 2/3 innings

Miami Marlins pitcher Brad Hand was destroyed by the New York Mets in Saturday's 7-0 loss, allowing seven runs on six hits in just 1 2/3 innings.

What It Means:

Hand has struggled through 10 starts this season, posting a 5.20 ERA, and with a 1.06 nERD that is good for only 156th among pitchers on the year. He does have a more respectable 3.68 FIP, and our projections expect him to post a 3.84 ERA over the remainder of the season.
