Chicago White Sox outfielder Avisail Garcia is not starting on Friday against the Kansas City Royals.
Since being activated from the disabled list on Tuesday, Garcia has gone 5-for-12 with a couple of doubles. He will be available off the bench tonight while Leury Garcia moves over to left field and bats sixth versus Royals southpaw Danny Duffy. Kevan Smith is in the cleanup spot for the White Sox.
numberFire's models project Garcia to record a .277 batting average with 4 home runs, 19 RBI, 20 runs scored, and 2 steals in 160 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
