Abraham Almonte not starting on Friday for Indians
Cleveland Indians outfielder Abraham Almonte is out of Friday's lineup against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Almonte went a combined 2-for-6 with a double over the past two games, but he'll head to the bench for tonight's contest against right-hander Jacob Faria and the Rays. Jay Bruce is starting in right field for the first time for Cleveland while Austin Jackson will be in left and Bradley Zimmer gets the nod in right.
numberFire's models project Almonte to record a .246 batting average in 64 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
