Arizona Diamondbacks infielder/outfielder Daniel Descalso is in at second base for Thursday's lineup versus the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Facing a lefty last night, Adam Rosales got the start at second for the Diamondbacks. However, with righty Yu Darvish on the bump tonight, Rosales will move to the bench in order for lefty Daniel Descalso to re-enter the lineup.
Although he has a tough matchup with Darvish, Descalso has 5 home runs and a .336 wOBA against right-handed pitching in 2017. Coming in at $2,500, Descalso isn't out of the question at second base tonight.
