Royals' Alex Gordon back in the lineup for Thursday's game
Kansas City Royals outfielder Alex Gordon is starting Thursday night's road game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Royals' manager Ned Yost provided Gordon with back-to-back days off in order to work on his swing, so we'll see if the time off pays off sooner rather than later. As Jorge Bonifacio goes back to the bench, Gordon will be in left field, hitting seventh against Cardinals' starter Lance Lynn.
For the month of August, Gordon has just 2 singles in 23 plate appearances. At a price tag of $2,400, we'll see if Gordon gets back on track tonight for the Royals.
