Trevor Plouffe not in the lineup for the Rays
Tampa Bay Rays infielder Trevor Plouffe is not in the starting lineup at home against the Cleveland Indians on Thursday.
It's a routine day off for Plouffe, and Logan Morrison will move to first base while Lucas Duda enters the lineup to handle designated hitting duties.
Plouffe has an ugly .262 wOBA through 84 games in 2017, and numberFire's models project him to bat .233 while adding 3 home runs and 13 RBI in 114 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
