Daniel Nava not in Phillies' lineup versus Braves
Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Daniel Nava is not starting against the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday.
Nava will grab a seat on the bench after three consecutive starts, in which he went 4-for-13 (.308) with a double, triple, and home run. Cam Perkins will make his first start for the Phillies since being recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on August 5.
Nava owns a .302 batting average (BA) in 198 plate appearances (70 games) this season. numberFire's models project him to turn in a .253 BA with 90 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
