Christian Yelich not starting as Marlins face Washington
Miami Marlins outfielder Christian Yelich is not starting against the Washington Nationals on Wednesday.
It's just a routine breather for Yelich, who is slashing .278/.363/.431 with 13 home runs, 58 RBI, 70 runs scored, and 10 steals in 476 plate appearances (108 games) this season. Ichiro Suzuki will be in center field while Marcell Ozuna mans right for the Marlins.
numberFire's models project Yelich to record a .284 batting average with 5 home runs, 24 RBI, 27 runs scored, and 5 steals in 202 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
