Braves' Johan Camargo injures knee while taking field Tuesday

Atlanta Braves shortstop Johan Camargo suffered an apparent right leg injury while taking the field for the start of Tuesday night's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

What It Means:

Carmago fell to the ground after leaping over the first base line as the Braves were taking the field. He needed to be helped back to the dugout and was immediately replaced by Jace Peterson. The injury appeared to be serious, and the Braves are expected to give more details following the game.

Camargo was having a successful rookie season, slashing .292/.327/.454 with a .329 wOBA and 26 runs scored in 197 plate appearances this season.
