Andrew Romine is hitting eighth Tuesday for Detroit
Detroit Tigers infielder Andrew Romine is starting at shortstop on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
What It Means:
Romine started in right field and hit in the second spot on Tuesday, but with Jim Adduci back in right, Romine is moving in to play shortstop. Dixon Machado is heading back to the bench, but Romine is also falling down in the batting order to eighth against right-hander Chad Kuhl.
