Yankees' Gary Sanchez heads to bench on Sunday
New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez is not in Sunday's starting lineup.
What It Means:
Sanchez was the designated hitter on Saturday, but Brett Gardner will cover that spot on Sunday. That leaves left field open for Clint Frazer to play in the series finale.
Our models project Sanchez to hit .270 with 8 home runs, 21 runs, and 24 RBI in 160 more plate appearances in 2017.
