Aaron Altherr (hamstring) returns to Phillies' DL
Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Aaron Altherr is going back on the disabled list after aggravating his hamstring during Friday's game.
The Phillies will again be without their best hitter this year, leaving them with Nick Williams, Daniel Nava, and Hyun-Soo Kim to take care the outfield corners. Altherr was originally on the DL for 11 days last month because of the same injury.
Altherr holds an .894 OPS this year, with 16 home runs and 5 stolen bases in 2017. Our models project him to hit .246 with 4 home runs, 16 runs, 16 RBI, and 3 stolen bases in 131 more plate appearances this year.
