Angels' Garrett Richards (biceps) cleared to resume throwing off a mound
Los Angeles Angels pitcher Garrett Richards (biceps) was cleared to begin throwing off a mound on Friday.
Richards was forced out of his 2017 debut on April 5 with a nerve problem in his right biceps, and this will be his first time throwing from a mound since then. If his rehab continues to go smoothly, there's a chance he makes it back before the end of the season.
numberFire's models have Richards pitching 13 more innings this year, projecting him for a 4.81 ERA and 1.45 WHIP and a 1-1 record.
