Joe Mauer hitting cleanup for Minnesota
Minnesota Twins first baseman Joe Mauer is batting from the cleanup spot on Thursday against the Texas Rangers.
With Brian Dozier getting the night off on Wednesday, Mauer moved up to lead off for the Twins. Now that Dozier's back, though, he's hitting third against right-hander A.J. Griffin.
In 255 plate appearances, Mauer has hit 5 home runs with a .352 wOBA against righties in 2017. At a price of $3,300, our models project him for 9.4 FanDuel points this evening.
