Brewers activate Matt Garza (leg) to start Thursday's game
The Milwaukee Brewers have activated pitcher Matt Garza ahead of Thursday afternoon's start against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Garza spent 10 days on the disabled list after suffering a right leg strain. He will return to face a familiar foe in the divisional rival St. Louis Cardinals.
In 3 starts for the month of July, Garza posted a 4.31 FIP with 9 strikeouts to 8 walks. He went 1-1 in those starts and will look to get back on track now that he's back to health.
