Adam Rosales

Adam Rosales starting, batting second for Arizona on Thursday

Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Adam Rosales is starting on Thursday versus the Chicago Cubs.

What It Means:

Rosales, acquired from the Oakland Athletics at the beginning of the week, went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI in Tuesday's debut with his new club. He'll start at shortstop again while batting out of the two-hole against Cubs left-hander Jose Quintana. Jack Reinheimer will return to the Diamondbacks' bench after making his big league debut Wednesday.

Quintana owns a 26.0 strikeout percentage this season and the Diamondbacks have a poor implied total (4.06 runs) in a matchup with a low over/under (8.5), so they aren't the most attractive lineup for fantasy purposes. numberFire's models project Rosales to score 8.5 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,300.
