Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Adam Lind is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
This appears to be a platoon day off for Lind with the Brewers facing Pirates' lefty Francisco Liriano. Right-handed batter Jason Rogers will bat fifth and play first base.
It's hard to draw much from Rogers as he only has 65 career plate appearances against left-handed pitching. He does have a 43.2 percent hard-hit rate, but that's coupled with a 27.3 percent soft-hit rate and a 24.6 strikeout percentage. Additionally, Liriano has a 3.18 xFIP on the season. It would be risky to roll with Rogers in daily fantasy baseball for Thursday's slate.
