Blue Jays place Jose Bautista on revocable trade waivers
The Toronto Blue Jays have placed outfielder Jose Bautista on revocable trade waivers, according to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal.
Toronto's just going through standard procedure here so don't expect anything to happen. At 36, Bautista carries a full no-trade clause with the $18 million he's making in 2017. It's unlikely he returns on next year's $17 million mutual option.
With a .313 wOBA, Bautista has accounted for 16 home runs, 45 RBI and 63 runs this year. The rest of the way, he's projected for 8 home runs, 25 RBI and 28 runs for the Jays.
