Indians place Andrew Miller (knee) on the disabled list
The Cleveland Indians have placed pitcher Andrew Miller on the 10-day disabled list with patella tendinitis in his right knee.
Miller has been great once again in 2017 with a 1.67 ERA and 0.76 WHIP in 46 total appearances. It is unclear how long he will be out, but the 32 year-old is of critical importance to the Indians' playoff hopes. Hopefully for the Tribe he can be back soon.
Before going on the disabled list, our models projected Miller for a 1.79 ERA and 0.84 WHIP, with 33 strikeouts over 25.1 innings remaining this season.
