Baltimore Orioles outfielder Seth Smith is not in the starting lineup against the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday.
It's a typical day off for Smith as the O's take on a southpaw, and Trey Mancini will handle designated hitter duties while Craig Gentry enters the lineup to start in left field.
Smith has a .348 wOBA through 75 games in 2017, and numberFire's models project him to bat .258 while adding 5 home runs and 18 RBI in 144 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
