Matt Davidson (wrist) absent from lineup as White Sox take on Toronto
Chicago White Sox infielder/designated hitter Matt Davidson (wrist) is not starting on Wednesday afternoon against the Toronto Blue Jays.
What It Means:
Davidson was plunked in his left wrist by a pitch in the fourth inning on Tuesday night, forcing him to make an early exit. He's considered day-to-day after X-rays came back negative. Alen Hanson is at DH for the White Sox while Tyler Saladino mans the hot corner and Jose Abreu covers first base. Kevan Smith is batting cleanup against Blue Jays southpaw J.A. Happ.
