Lucas Sims recalled from Triple-A, making MLB debut Tuesday
The Atlanta Braves recalled pitcher Lucas Sims from Triple-A Gwinnett and he's scheduled to make his MLB debut on Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
What It Means:
This is a tough draw for the 23-year-old right-hander in his big league debut, but there's some long-term fantasy appeal in deeper formats. Sims twirled a 3.75 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and 28.1 strikeout percentage across 115 1/3 innings (20 games) in Triple-A this season, going 7-4 across 19 starts.
