Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Matt Garza is expected to return from the disabled list for Thursday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals, per the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tom Haudricourt.

The Brewers opted against a rehab assignment for the veteran hurler. Instead, he will return Thursday afternoon after missing time with a lower leg strain.
