Brandon Phillips sitting out Tuesday in Atlanta
Atlanta Braves second baseman Brandon Phillips is not in the starting lineup on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Braves have called up Ozzie Albies, who will be making his major league debut at second base tonight. This will give the veteran Phillips the night off, as Albies is hitting seventh against righty Kenta Maeda.
Our models project Phillips for a .294 batting average, with 4 home runs, 22 RBI, 27 runs scored, and 6 steals over 215 plate appearances remaining this season.
