Willy Garcia lands on White Sox' 7-day concussion disabled list
Chicago White Sox outfielder Willy Garcia has been placed on the 7-day concussion disabled list.
Garcia's head collided with teammate Yoan Moncada's knee on Monday night against the Toronto Blue Jays while they were both chasing down a fly ball. It's unknown how long he will be on the shelf. Nicky Delmonico was called up from Triple-A Charlotte to replace Garcia on the active roster.
Garcia is slashing .258/.317/.441 with 2 home runs in 105 plate appearances (40 games) this season.
