Tony Watson

Dodgers acquiring Pirates' Tony Watson

The Los Angeles Dodgers are acquiring Pittsburgh Pirates reliever Tony Watson, according to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal.

What It Means:

Pending medical reviews, this is a done deal. Although, it remains to be seen whether the Dodgers will still land Baltimore Orioles closer Zach Britton. Either way, Watson will be a late-inning guy in Los Angeles.

In 47 appearances, Watson has tallied 10 saves with a 5-3 record and 4.69 FIP on the year. We project him for a 1-2 record and 1.25 WHIP in 25-plus innings the remainder of the year.
