Kansas City Royals outfielder Melky Cabrera is starting in right field and batting third in his 2017 Royals' debut on Monday.
Just acquired on Sunday, Cabrera will replace Jorge Bonifacio in right field and bat behind Lorenzo Cain as he faces Ubaldo Jimenez and the Baltimore Orioles on Monday.
Cabrera has gone 7-for-24 (.292) against Jimenez in his career, and with the Royals owning a 5.0 implied run total, Cabrera makes for an interesting play with a cost of only $2,700 on Monday.
