Blue Jays' Troy Tulowitzki's ankle injury may be season-ending

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Troy Tulowitzki suffered ligament damage in his right ankle, an MRI revealed.

What It Means:

The injury occurred during Friday's contest. More details will be known after Tulowitzki meets with a foot/ankle specialist, but this could potentially put an end to his 2017 campaign. Ryan Goins started at shortstop in both contests over the weekend for the Blue Jays.

The 32-year-old veteran owns a .249/.300/.378 slash with 7 home runs and 26 RBI in a limited 260 plate appearances (66 games) this season.
