Twins trade Jaime Garcia to Yankees
The Minnesota Twins and New York Yankees have completed a trade that will send starting pitcher Jaime Garcia to New York according to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports.
Garcia made one start for the Twins after the Braves traded him to Minnesota, and now he is on the move again. The Twins will receive prospects Zach Littell and Dietrich Enns in return for Garcia, who should slide into the back half of New York's rotation. Garcia owns a 4.29 ERA over 19 starts this season between Atlanta and the Twins.
Our models project Garcia for a 3.95 ERA and 1.35 WHIP, with 49 strikeouts over 68.4 innings remaining this season.
