A's push Sonny Gray's next start to Monday
Oakland Athletics starting pitcher Sonny Gray has had his next scheduled start moved from Sunday to Monday, according to Joe Stiglich of NBC Sports California.
With all the trade rumors swirling around Gray, The A's thought it would be best to move Gray's next start to Monday, after the 4 pm EST non-waiver trade deadline. Jharel Cotton will come off the DL and start for Oakland on Sunday.
Gray owns a 3.70 SIERA and a 23.5% strikeout rate in 97 innings pitched this season. If he is still with Oakland and starts on Monday, our models see him getting 33.5 FanDuel points against the San Francisco Giants.
