The Miami Marlins have made starting pitcher Dan Straily available for trade, according to Yahoo Sports' Jeff Passan.
Under control until 2020, previous reports suggested that the Marlins wouldn't move players like Straily prior to the deadline. However, it appears that they're shopping the 28-year-old now and could potential get good value for him in the market.
In 21 starts, Straily is 7-6 with a 4.38 FIP and 8.21 strikeouts per 9 innings in 2017. Our models project him for a 5-3 record and 56 strikeouts in 70-plus innings.
