Angels' Yunel Escobar sitting on Thursday
Los Angeles Angels third baseman/shortstop Yunel Escobar is absent from the team's lineup for Thursday's matchup with the Cleveland Indians.
The team's primary leadoff hitter will take a seat after starting every game since the All-Star break. Ben Revere will take his place atop the Angels' order as Luis Valbuena makes the change over to third for this afternoon's contest.
numberFire's models project Escobar for 2 home runs, 18 RBI and a .288 average across 211 plate appearances the remainder of the season.
