San Francisco Giants second baseman Joe Panik is moving up in the batting order on Wednesday against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
What It Means:
With the trade of Eduardo Nunez to Boston, the Giants have hole to fill in the top half of their order. Panik will get the first shot at hitting behind Denard Span, as the Giants face off against right-hander Trevor Williams on Wednesday.
