Darnell Sweeney batting leadoff for Phillies again Wednesday
Philadelphia Phillies second baseman and outfielder Darnell Sweeney will bat leadoff for the second consecutive game Wednesday as the Phillies face the New York Mets.
Sweeney is playing left field with Domonic Brown in right, knocking Aaron Altherr out of the lineup.
Sweeney has had a nice start to his Major League career, going 5-for-19 with a double, two home runs and five walks. He was more known for his speed in Triple-A with the Dodgers, swiping 32 bases while posting a .271/.332/.409 slash. His leadoff spot in the batting order gives Sweeney increased fantasy relevance, but you may want to hold off Wednesday with Mets ace Matt Harvey on the mound.
