Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Peter Bourjos is not starting on Wednesday versus the Baltimore Orioles.
Mallex Smith will slide back over to center field while Corey Dickerson returns to the starting lineup following a one-game absence, so Bourjos is on the bench after receiving a rare starting nod on Tuesday. Right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez is on the hill for Baltimore.
Bourjos is slashing .243/.297/.427 across 112 plate appearances (59 games) this season. numberFire's models project him to turn in a .246 batting average over 68 remaining plate appearances this year.
