On Tuesday night, the San Francisco Giants acquired pitchers Shaun Anderson and Gregory Santos from the Boston Red Sox, according to the Boston Globe's Alex Speier.
In trading utility player Eduardo Nunez, the Giants return two minor league righties in Anderson and Santos, who will take their respective places in the San Francisco farm system.
At 22 years old, Anderson is 3-3 with a 4.17 FIP in 11 starts at High-A this season. Meanwhile, Santos, at 17, is 2-0 with a 3.31 FIP in 7 starts at rookie ball.
